Household distributed photovoltaic (PV) systems have emerged as an essential driver of urban-rural green development and a powerful engine of rural vitalization in China in recent years.

However, these studies did not take into account the energy consumption of photovoltaic products in the production process.
Findings demonstrate that solar energy systems enable economic empowerment, job creation, improved healthcare, and enhanced educational opportunities in rural areas. The review also emphasizes the importance of scalable models and integrated renewable energy solutions tailored for rural settings.
Based on the above reasons, the Chinese government plans to vigorously promote the construction of photovoltaic system in rural areas, which has been included in the 14 th Five-Year Plan of renewable energy development. In the foreseeable future, rural photovoltaic system in China will achieve rapid and sustainable growth. Figure 4.
