Samsung SDI is a South Korean battery cell supplier that already partners with other automakers. In 2019, the company signed a $3.2 billion deal with BMW Group for a 10-year supply agreement.
SDI's Canadian subsidiary, SDI Canada services clients across Canada. While a legal subsidiary with offices in Canada, SDI Canada is truly an integrated operating part of SDI, built from the ground up, rather than an existing operation purchased by SDI.
