Kempower Distributed Charging Systems are tailored to your needs. The Kempower Power Unit's rack-style structure allows individual cabinets to be furnished with 1–4 power modules, each providing 50 kW of charging power capacity in 25 kW granularity. With single-, double- and triple-cabinet options, each Power Unit can support 1-12 charging points.
The most basic configuration of an emergency or standby power system is a single engine with single or multiple transfer switches shown in Simple Emergency/Standby System Arrangement. The transfer switch (es) transfer the emergency/standby loads to the alternate source upon loss of the normal source.
Emergency power must be supplied to the life safety branch within ten seconds of a normal source power outage. Typically, these loads are served by automatic-transfer/bypass-Isolation switches. Often these switches are provided with Closed Transition features. Wiring for the Life Safety Branch is kept independent of all other wiring.
