View DetailsThe telephone system in Andorra, including mobile, data and Internet is operated exclusively by the Andorran national telecommunications company, Andorra Telecom, formerly known as Servei de Telecomunicacions d'Andorra (STA).
The firm commitment of Andorra Telecom to innovation and the implementation of new technology in the Principality of Andorra is reflected in its active participation of the Smart Country project currently led by the government of Andorra.
AT also manages the technical infrastructures of digital terrestrial television in Andorra, taking both the national television channels and some Spanish and French DTT channels to the whole territory. It also has a deal with the Spanish company Telefónica to offer the pay platform Movistar Plus+ in Andorra.
Television services are now provided by Televisió Digital Terrestre (TDT), which as well as broadcasting the one Andorran channel, broadcasts channels from Spain and France. Internet access is available only through the national telephone company, Andorra Telecom (formerly STA).

Andorra Telecom is the sole operator of land telephone, mobile telephone, pay television and Internet in Andorra, a telecommunication monopoly. It is a public company owned by the Andorran Government.
